There are a few different types of LED light, all of which the eye perceives differently. Blue targets acne-causing bacteria; red stimulates the creation of collagen and elastin to decrease fine lines and wrinkles. Studies conducted using LED for acne and anti-aging showed significant improvement in both. The biggest con is that you have to commit to using it every day. This needs to become part of your daily skin care regimen. For some this may be a burden... I use mine for 30 minutes a day just lying down an looking at my phone which I do anyway, so multitasking!
Tip: I don't try to connect the neck piece , I just lay it on my neck. I also don't really like how it feels on the top of my forehead so I put a washcloth on part of my forehead by my hairline..lean back and watch Netflix on my ipad.
